Position: Credit Approval – Corporate Credit

Grade : VP - SVP

Report to: Head of Corporate Credit Approval

Responsibility:

To review and evaluate credit proposals and provide appropriate credit recommendation.
When awarded with CDL, to exercise such authority with integrity, prudent and in responsible manner.
To keep abreast with external regulatory updates, and internal risks parameter and to ensure that all credit approvals are within appropriate regulatory/risks guidelines.
To monitor outstanding loans for signs of stress and to recommend appropriate action.
Where necessary, to conduct site visit for better understanding of borrowers’ operations.
To prepare and analyze macro and micro economic data, and industry updates to support credit judgment.
Any assignments as may be delegated by Senior Management.
Requirement:

1. Bachelor degree or above

2. At least 10 years of relevant experience in banking field, preferably with certain degree of relationship management or business development experience

3. Familiar with Corporate Banking loan process, solid credit knowledge and good sense of credit risk control

4. Fluent in both written and spoken English.

5. Ability to work well across teams/functions; handle time and volume pressure well

6. Good inter-personal and communication skills
